AHRC is an international non-governmental organisation that works to protect and promote human rights in Asia
AHRC is an invaluable resource for human rights in Asia. By campaigning to end the death penalty, abuse of children, and labour rights violations, AHRC works to protect many of the most vulnerable throughout the region. Through direct fieldwork and advocating on behalf of those violated, AHRC is making a real difference in protecting and promoting human rights at a grassroots level. Their research into rights violations helps to educate both local communities and international organisations about areas of need, which ultimately leads to positive outcomes for all stakeholders involved. AHRC’s efforts in this area are commendable and their contributions should not go unrecognised!
We work with governments, national human rights institutions, civil society organisations, and individuals to advance human rights in the region
At XXX we believe that everyone should have the right to live with dignity and equality. Our team works tirelessly to promote human rights around the region. We collaborate with governments, national human rights institutions, and civil society organisations to enhance fundamental freedoms for all people – regardless of race, gender, or religion. We strive to provide assistance and advice to individuals who need it most as we work together to make a difference for those who are vulnerable and marginalised in our society. By joining forces with local stakeholders, we can pave the way for a more equitable future and create tangible improvements in the lives of ordinary citizens.
We provide information on human rights violations occurring in Asia, as well as support capacity building initiatives to strengthen the protection of human rights
Asia is home to a number of countries and communities; each with complex social, economic, environmental and political issues. Unfortunately, this has created an environment that is ripe for human rights violations to occur. At Asian Human Rights Institute, our mission is to facilitate awareness of these transgressions on a global scale, and provide aid to those impacted negatively by them. In addition, in order to best protect and support the population of Asia in regards to their basic human rights, our organization also provides capacity building initiatives in the form of education resources, public speaking campaigns, and consultation services. Overall, we strive to enable individuals and groups with the necessary tools to advocate effectively for change that leads toward greater human rights protection.
We also advocate for justice and accountability when violations occur, and work towards changing the systems and structures that allow abuse to take place
At our organization, we are committed to not just responding to instances of abuse and violations of human rights, but also preventing them from occurring in the first place. Our staff works together to ensure that everyone is aware of their rights and how they can take action if they see a violation. It’s important for us to address the systemic issues that allow abuses to continue and promote justice and accountability sorely needed in these situations. How? We work with community groups to promote legal awareness of individuals’ rights. We ensure that any instance of abuse is reported and thoroughly investigated, providing individuals with restorative justice when necessary. And we raise public awareness about how communities can come together to create a safe environment for everyone involved. Ultimately, our work focuses on creating long-term structural change for more equitable and just societies all over the world.
