Resources and Training (CCRT) is one of the most important groups working to connect education and culture. It was started in 1979 by Smt. Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay and Dr. Kapila Vatsyayan. It is now an independent institution under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The CCRT’s philosophy is based on a commitment to holistic education, which includes the mental, emotional, and spiritual growth of children. To do this, the CCRT promotes cultural knowledge and understanding as a way to help people become more clear, creative, independent in their thinking, tolerant, and compassionate.
By making education based on culture and useful, CCRT has helped strengthen the country’s foundation. The CCRT has its headquarters in New Delhi and three Regional Centers in Udaipur in the west, Hyderabad in the south, and Guwahati in the northeast. This is so that Indian art and culture can reach more people. The CCRT improves India’s education system by helping teachers, students, and education officials learn more about the different cultures of India’s different regions and by incorporating this knowledge into lessons.
About the 2023 Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Program
The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), an independent organisation under the Ministry of Culture of the Government of India, has started the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme 2023 for children ages 10 to 14. The goal of this programme is to give talented young people specialised training in many areas of culture, with a focus on rare art forms that are on the verge of dying out. The chosen students will get INR 3,600 per year and up to INR 9,000 per year back on their tuition costs. Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme’s Goal
The Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), which is a separate part of the Ministry of Culture, is in charge of running the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship (CTSS) Scheme. The goal of the scholarship programme is to give talented young people the chance to improve their skills in a wide range of cultural areas, such as traditional music, dance, and theatre, as well as painting, sculpture, crafts, and writing.
Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme Pros and Cons
- The scholarship is given for two years at first, and if the student keeps making good progress, it can be renewed until the student is twenty years old. The person who gets the scholarship will get Rs. 3600/- every year, plus up to Rs. 9000/- per year to cover the actual tuition paid to the Guru/Teacher.
- Every year, 650 new scholarships are given out, with 100 reserved for students interested in tribal culture (ST candidates), 125 for children from families who practise traditional arts, 20 for Divyaang (Differently Abled) children, and (as of 2016) 30 for students interested in creative writing/literary arts.

For a candidate to be taken into account, he or she must meet the following requirements:
