Criteria for eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the following rules:
- To apply for the NSF graduate scholarship, applicants must not only have passed the Class XII exam, but also have done well on the entrance exams.
- If a diploma student wants to get an NSF Scholarship, they need to have passed the class X board exams.
- The applicant should have done well enough on his or her class X or class XII tests to be in the top 10%.
- The applicant should have done well on their state’s CET, NEET, or JEE tests.
- INR 1,000,000 is the most a family should make.
- For the NSF Scholarship for Graduate Students, applicants must get into one of the following professional courses:
- Medicine Engineering Architecture (MBBS, BAMS, and BDS)
- B.V.Sc B.Pharm B.Sc in Nursing
- B.Sc in agriculture
- Diploma students in engineering or agriculture can apply for an NSF scholarship.
- They should go to a government or government-supported college to get a diploma.
Scholarship Awards from the NSF
The winners of this scholarship will receive the following:-
The candidates can use the NSF Scholarship as long as they are in school. But they should keep getting good grades. Students who are chosen will get anywhere from INR 8,000 to INR 25,000. At the time they apply, they shouldn’t be getting any other grants or scholarships.
How to pick people
In this scholarship, the applicants will be chosen based on the following criteria:
- The Coordinator of the Indian Chapter first looks over the applications that the candidates send in.
- The ICC and a panel of judges then ask the candidates who made the short list and their parents to come in for a personal interview.
- The selection committee sends its recommendation to the NSF India Coordinator in Hyderabad based on what was said in this interview.
- Scholarships will be given to applicants at a ceremony put on by the NSF in their honour.
Documents Required
Candidates for this scholarship need to send in the following things:
- Picture of the person applying
- Photograph of the applicant’s family
- College Admission Card Rank Card for CET/JEE/NEET (attested)
- Authentic certificate from the college where the student was accepted.
- Certificates showing marks from 10th to 12th class, duly attested by the Head of the Institution, or a diploma, duly attested by the Head of the Institution.
- Proof that tuition fees have been paid or will be paid each year, signed by college officials.
- Receipts or proof that the tuition fees for classes 10 and 12 were paid, or a Diploma Income Certificate from a Revenue Official or another responsible authority.
- Aadhar card/ration card
- Statement from the Chief
