Criteria for eligibility
Those who want to apply for the programme must first make sure they meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in law from an Indian school recognised by the Bar Council of India or a degree from an overseas university that is equivalent to the LLB programme.
- People who are in their last year of law school and will finish by the time the fellowship starts are also eligible.
- The applicants must have done well in school and in extracurricular activities.
- Those who want to apply must be able to write and talk well.
Methods for choosing
- The way to get into the Daksha Fellowship programme is as follows:
- Putting in an application and being judged on it.
- The Daksha Fellowship Admissions Test (DFAT), the CLAT PG, and the LSAT-India are all entrance exams.
- Panel Interview: Applicants who make the short list will be asked to come to the Daksha Fellowship City Campus in Chennai or one of the metro cities for a personal interview. Ten to fourteen days after the interview, applicants will be told what the final decision is.
